The most iconic church of the city is the first place you will discover. Highlights inside include Pellegrino Pellegrini’s beautiful altars, sarcophagi of historic archbishops, and Marco d'Agrate’s grisly Saint Bartholomew Flayed (1562) sculpture. The archaeological area down a narrow staircase is also worth a visit. After the visit of the church climb the famous stairs to the roof. The views are one of the city’s biggest attractions are available as an entirely separate ticket from the cathedral itself. Choose between two different lifts or an energy-sapping climb up a narrow, twisting staircase. After the visit of the church the group will walk around in the busy streets of the city center where world famous fashion shops are located

The history of Milan is directly linked to this castle which belonged to Visconti family and successively Sforza family. An intimate visit of the interiors will shed light over the centuries of intestine fighting and the crucial position of Milan in the international courts of Middle Age and Renaissance period. A room painted by Leonardo Da Vinci is now under maintenance

Did you know about the sculpture called Pietà Rondanini made by a certain Michelangelo? Don't miss it during the visit of the Sforza Museum inside the Sforza Castle

Meeting with the English speaking guide at the entrance of the city. Explore it by walking across its historic districts, its churches, its funiculars and its walkways climbing up through the lush vegetation of the Hills Park and let yourself be enchanted by the surprising views of the flatland and the mountains. Bergamo is the birthplace of Donizetti, one of the world’s five greatest opera composers: you can trace the life of this 19th century musician starting from his native house in Upper Bergamo, admiring his mementos at the Museo Donizettiano, at his grave in the Santa Maria Maggiore Basilica and at the city theatre, which was named after him. From music to art masterpieces, such as Botticelli’s, Mantegna’s, Bellini’s and Raphael’s: you can find these masters in the halls of Accademia Carrara Picture Gallery, housing one of Europe’s most outstanding collections of the Italian Renaissance

Today you will venture on the Alps mountains

This train is not only a train but a moving theater. Crossing the landscapes of this part of Italy will blow your mind in terms of shapes and colours. Make sure you have your camera and free space to load the tons of pictures you will take

Around this time your English speaking guide will start the visit of St. Moritz. This luxurious town in the middle of Alps mountains is the favourite hideaway for many people from all around the world for the beauty of the lake and the quietness of the surrounding forests

After the visit of St. Moritz your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will help gathering the group and move to the bus that will take the group back to the hotel

Today is a busy day! Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will guide the group and reach Cantina Ferghettina located in Franciacorta. Meeting with the English speaking guide who will explain in detail the origin and the work inside a typical Italian vineyard. In the afternoon, after a luxurious lunch in Iseo village you will have some free time to explore the Franciacorta Outlet Village where many branded italian clothes are on sale

The tour includes a guided tour of the cellar of about 50 minutes. At the end 3 types of wines will be presented for tasting. These wine tasting will be combined with fresh breadsticks and italian parmesan

Curious to know the local Brescian cuisine? Today you are in Iseo town for lunch to taste some of the local specialities in this all-included 4 course meal for everyone. Drinks and coffee are on the house! Please advise your Sweet Travel Italy assistant in case of food allergies or special requirements like vegetarian/vegan. Lunch is included in the tour price

Ready for another adventure? Explore Varenna, another magical town on the lakeside

Together with the English speaking guide you will walk the town of Varenna. Visit St. George Church and the beautiful lakeside where bars, cafes and gelateria (shops dedicated only to selling freshly made ice creams) are mainly located. Make sure to ask your Sweet Travel Italy assistant about Castle Vezio and the falconry for a possible optional excursion

Famous for its luxurious gardens and overlooking the shores of Lake Como, Villa Carlotta was built in the late-seventeenth century by Marquis Giorgio Clerici of Milan. In 1801 the building was sold by Caterina Bigli Clerici, the last descendant of a noble family, to Giovanni Battista Sommariva, at the time President of the Governing Committee of the Cisalpine Republic (1797–1802) established by Napoleon Bonaparte in Northern Italy

You will then move to another enchanting place: Bellagio. Here you will have some time to walk around with your Sweet Travel Italy assistant

This neoclassical building was once erected for a noble family duke Melzi D'Eril and it is still a private mansion. Together with your English speaking guide discover the gardens surrounding the villa and the magical Japanese pond

Leaving the amazing gardens of Villa Melzi D'Eril and start the return trip to the new hotel located in Lecco. As soon as you arrive in Varenna our minivan will take the group to the hotel

Today enjoy the visit of two small towns: Lecco and Como. These small towns have all the charm of small Italian villages with the slowness of life dictated by the waves of the nearby lake. A feast for the peace of mind

Meeting with the English speaking guide and visit of Lecco town. Did you know Alessandro Manzoni, one of the greatest Italian writers of 17th century, set up his most memorable book in this town by the lake? You will walk together with the guide and discover the places of the book and reach Pescarenico fish village

Visit with your English speaking guide the Como cathedral and ascent with the Como-Brunate funicular. This excursion is a great opportunity to take amazing pictures of the lake with a 360° view
