Day-1ARRIVAL DAY

  1. Arrival in Naples Capodichino International Airport 📍

    Welcome to Italy!

    Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant is waiting for you in the airport to welcome you and to lead the group for the week. Share to your Sweet Travel Italy assistant a warm ciao!

  2. Transfer to 4* Hotel Ramada

    Transfer to the 4* hotel in Naples city center with our private minivan

  3. Check in 4* Hotel Ramada

    Leave your luggage in the hotel. Depending on your arrival time we have booked for you a half day tour of the city of Naples

  4. Visit of Naples 📍

    Together with your Sweet Travel Italy assistant you will discover the narrow streets of Naples. Famous Spaccanapoli, the subterranean Naples, the little shops on decumano, Piazzetta Nilo and much more awaits you during this half day visit of the city

  5. Dinner

    You are free to pick one of the recommended restaurants in Naples city center. Tonight's dinner is not included in the tour price

Day-2CAMPANIA FAMILY WINERIES & CASTELLO LANCELLOTTI

  1. Breakfast

    After the breakfast pick up from your hotel with our minivan. This first day is dedicated to the region of Irpinia Valley where the special soil and the ancient tradition of wine production is kept alive everyday by local families who work all year to create some of the best wines in the world. You will spend the day touring each vineyard, talking to local owners about the secrets and the alchemy of a “great aglianico

  2. Transfer to Irpinia

    After the breakfast your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will gather the group for the day excursion in Irpinia region, to discover some of the most ancient wineries of Italy

  3. Visit of I Capitani Winery 📍

    In 1920's after accumulating the necessary experience and knowing capabilities of their lands, Ciriaco and Florindo decided to make the leap. In a historic day for the company, the twos decided to narrow their work and to convert farm to winery. That's how I Capitani was born

  4. Visit of Cantine Di Marzo Winery

    Do you know what Greco di Tufo means? It is one of the most renowned wines of Campania region and the name comes directly from the town where it was first produced: Tufo. Probably one of the oldest wine factory of Southern Italy, the Cantine Di Marzo winery is a perfect mix of wine culture and the geography of the territory. Placed in Irpinia region, the greenest heart of Campania region, this winery was first established more then 400 hundred years ago. Together with your Sweet Travel Italy assistant you will spend the morning exploring the wine cellar of the castle where today the wine is produced

  5. Lunch in Cantine Di Marzo

    After the visit of the castle, together with your Sweet Travel Italy assistant enjoy the meal like an Italian “aristocratic” family of the area. Engage the stories of their ancient heritage. Sample some delicious Italian food and local specialties, including the wine masterpieces. Meal made of organic food will be served for all the participants

  6. Visit of Castello Lancellotti

    Of Norman origin, this castle stands on a rock called the "first stone", belonging to an ancient Roman construction, near a small and elegant 19th-century garden, with a circular fountain in the centre. The building, which appears today as it was rebuilt in 1872 by Prince Filippo Massimo Lancellotti it's built in an composite architectural style: Gothic, Renaissance, Neoclassical and Baroque. In the bottom there is a small portal that leads to a secret garden

Day-3CAMPANIA PROFESSIONAL WINERIES, ARIANO IRPINO & ZUNGOLI

  1. Breakfast

    “Modern” wineries that export their exquisite products worldwide. You will see how these companies have embraced the concept of futuristic wine production without losing the ancient roots of such a noble and traditional practice. Once again you will be submerged in the smells and colors that will lead you to understand the processes of wine-making. Included in the afternoon tour is the visit of two beautiful small towns

  3. Visit of Mastroberardino Winery

    The Mastroberardino family has been farming grapes and producing wine since the mid-18th century, dating back 10 generations. The family settled in the town of Atripalda in 1878, in the district of Irpinia, at a time when the royal House of Bourbon still occupied the land

  4. Visit of Cantina Riccio

    Located in the heart of Irpinia region, this modern but traditional winery will host the group for a visit of the vineyard. After the visit a tasty lunch will be served. Make sure to take some time to explore the vineyard on your own and take great pictures of Irpinia region

  5. Lunch in Cantina Riccio

    After the visit of the vineyards and the cellar followed by an expert enologist, the group will be hosted for a delicious meal and wine tasting in one of the cozy rooms of the winery

  6. Transfer to Ariano Irpino & Zungoli

    The afternoon is dedicated to the visit of two beautiful towns in Irpinia: Ariano and Zungoli

  7. Visit of Ariano Irpino

    Well known since the Neolithic times this small town was the crossroad of three main roman highways: Via Erculea, Via Traiana and Via Emilia. Because of its strategic position the town was occupied during the centuries by Normans, Lombards, Aragones, etc... Typical of the town is the maiolica, a kind of smooth surfaced ceramic painted with bright colours. Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will lead the group to discover the local museum for an in-depth knowledge of the local craftsmanship

  8. Visit of Zungoli 📍

    Did you know in Zungoli you can purchase a house for € 1,00? This small town is almost left without inhabitants. Walking its streets will give a feeling of peace. Together with your Sweet Travel Italy assistant discover this town which has been officially nominated one of "the most enchanting small towns" in Italy. The place first appears in the chronicles of 1164 AD, on the occasion of the consecration of the church of San Cataldo. Uncertain is the origin of the name: it attaches to a Norman, Leander Juncolo or Curalo, which used the strategic location to build a castle called "Castrum Caroli". Originally, the castle was provided with four cylindrical towers placed at the corners, but only three remain because one was destroyed by a strong earthquake in 1456. 

  9. Transfer to Neapolitan Pizzeria

    fter a full day visit of the Irpinia region, your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will lead the group to a retro Pizzeria (restaurants that specializes in making and serving pizzas)to taste The Real Neapolitan Deal. Buon appetito!

Day-4POMPEI & THE VOLCANO WINERY

  1. Breakfast

    Discover the ancient city of Pompei and its wine culture. Since the Roman times, this heavenly juice has had a place on the table of millions of people at each meal. After the visit of Pompei with a specialized guide, walk the hidden vineyards on the slopes of the volcano that guarantee a very hearty wine with sulfur smells directly connected to the soil

  2. Transfer to Pompei

    Pompei and Herculaneum were two roman rich towns located at the feet of a volcano called Vesuvius in Campania region. The towns after the eruption of 79 D.C. were completely destroyed. Only in the 18th century the archaeological works have brought the towns back to light showing a frozen-in-time picture of what was life more than 2000 years ago

  3. Visit of Pompei

    The group will be led by English speaking guide who will gather the group at Pompei entrance and distribute the radio guides. The tour of Pompei takes approximately 3 hours. A detailed explanation of the wine culture in ancient Rome is planned to take place during the excursion of Pompei

  4. Transfer to Sorrentino Winery

    Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will gather the group and lead to a nearby vineyard where tasting a great italian meal. Bruschettas, aubergines, spaghetti and the local wine are ready for you before the adventure continues on the slopes of the volcano 

  5. Visit of the vineyard and lunch time 📍

    This is the time to chill under the grape leaves. Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant takes a walk into the vineyard and the cellar to show you the processes of wine making in this particular area at the feet of the volcano

  6. Visit of the volcano

    From the top of the volcano you can admire the islands of Capri, Ischia and Procida like jems in the sea, the romantic Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and the city of Naples 

  7. Transfer to the hotel

    Around this time our minivan will drive the group back to the hotel. Dinner is not included in the tour price. Please ask your Sweet Travel Italy assistant for more tips on local restaurants or pizzeria

Day-5DEPARTURE DAY

  1. Breakfast

    Every morning continental breakfast will be served for all our guests. Wide choice of cold cuts, fresh croissants, eggs and fruits will be available

  2. Check out from 4* hotel Ramada

    Check out from the hotel and hop on our minivan to go directly to the airport

  3. Transfer to Naples Capodichino International Airport

    The transfer to the airport will be organized according to your flight schedule. Your Sweet Travel Italy assistant will help you at the airport for the check in and the luggage drop
